Emergency at sea or on the shore?
Call 112 or 999 and ask for the Coast Guard. Do not email us.
Email hello@tidetimes.ie. One person reads it, usually within a working day.
What we can help with
- A time or height that does not match what you see on the shore. Tell us the page, the date and what you saw. If a beach consistently runs earlier or later than its gauge, we want to know.
- A beach, pier or harbour you would like added, and the nearest gauge you use for it.
- A mistake in a guide or a local safety note, or a source that has been updated.
- Press and research questions about Irish tides and the site.
What we cannot help with
- Navigation advice or permission to launch, cross or swim. Use official charts, harbour masters and local signs.
- Raw gauge measurements or historic data. The Marine Institute publishes these.
- Lifeguard hours and beach closures. Your county council and Water Safety Ireland list them.
