What this site is

TideTimes.ie shows tide times and heights for 38 stations around the Irish coast, from Dublin to Dingle, on fast pages built for checking on your phone at the beach or the pier.

It exists because tide data for Ireland was scattered across slow international sites full of ads for other countries’ beaches.

Where the data comes from

Tide predictions come from the Marine Institute’s public data service, the state agency responsible for marine research in Ireland.

How it stays accurate

The forecasts refresh automatically every Sunday morning: new data is fetched, tested and published without anyone touching a keyboard. If the pipeline ever fails, the developer gets an alert the same day.

Who runs it

TideTimes.ie is a personal project, built and maintained by an independent web developer. It is free to use and not affiliated with any government body or official organisation. The tools here are provided for convenience; for decisions that matter, always confirm with the official source.
